Communication & Resources - Important things for Teaching!

This week during student teaching I learned that both good communication and utilizing community resources are both really important things to do in education!

Two representatives from the Cumberland County Conservation District came to speak to all of our agriculture classes on Friday.  They made connections about how conservation relates and is important for everyone!

Mrs. Bier trying out her new form of formative assessment - white boards!  Definitely a hit with the student and beneficial to the instructor!

  1. And even when it is spelled out for expectations....sometimes they don't read/listen! It is definitely a challenge to balance clarity of high expectations with student ownership of learning.

Sounds like potentially the rubric did contain all the values that you had...perhaps a "team player" section for helping others?

Students will generally perform the level of standards you expect.

    Finish Strong!
